Meet Brieanna

As a Mental Health Occupational Therapist, part of the Mindful Rehab™ team, I bring a functional approach to mental health care. My background merges the practical discipline of Occupational Therapy with modern Psychological approaches, supported by research in neuroscience and activity.


I work with students, professionals, trauma-exposed individuals, and first responders, helping to navigate the impacts of chronic or extreme stress on the mind and body. I have extensive experience helping students and professionals with ADHD, on the Autism Spectrum, and facing neurodiverse challenges.


My therapeutic approach is compassionate, insightful, and action-oriented. Together, we address the ways anxiety, trauma, or burnout impact your daily life and mental state. From our shared understanding of your concerns, we'll develop skills and implement strategies to build your confidence, focus, and capability.

Do you offer free consultation calls?
Yes, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. This provides an opportunity for us to connect over the phone or video, discuss your needs, and ensure I am the right fit before you commit to a full session.
Are your services covered by insurance?
Yes. As a Registered Occupational Therapist, my services are typically covered by extended health benefit plans under "Occupational Therapy." I will provide you with a detailed receipt after our session that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Therapy service costs not covered are tax deductible.
Where do sessions take place?
I am based in Edmonton, AB, and offer flexible meeting options for your comfort:

  • Outdoor Walks: Walk-and-Talks bring movement and nature into therapeutic discussion, which is excellent for emotion regulation and processing without a formal clinical setting.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No, a doctor's referral is not required to book a private appointment in Alberta. You can book yourself in or reach out directly. Please check with your specific insurance provider, as some insurance plans do request a doctor's note to receive reimbursement.
